Data from the nonpartisan Center for Responsive Politics shows that from 2008 through the 2020 election, more than $25 million has gone to Trump properties. CRP data also shows that during the 2020 election cycle, the RNC paid Trump properties over $1 million to host political events.

Mar-a-Lago has seen over $1 million spent on it by Republican led groups since 2016.

... you cannot see a conflict of interest and would prefer to sweep this story under the rug but the majority of Americans voted to make sure the ex President would never see a second term in office for reasons like this.

So now you go from a single $175,000.00 event to $17 million over a 5 year period, then $25 Million, the $1 million during the 2020 election cycle. Which is it? You are all over the place like as though you are grabbing at straws and do not have the foggiest idea of what is really happening.

Oh and by the way, it is rapidly beginning to appear as though there was massive voter fraud in the 2020 election.

As for conflict of interest, prior to the 2016 election there could be no conflict since candidate Trump did not hold any office. After Biden was inaugurated, the $175,000 event, citizen Trump no longer held any office, ergo no conflict. While Trump was President all Trump propertied were under the control of an independent trustee. If there was any conflict it would have been on the part of trustee, not President Trump. Looks like CNN has gotten you in trouble, again.

A mother giving her daughter business is not the same as a politician demanding appearance fees from his supporters.

The business given had a substantial printing and postage cost associated to it so the larger part of the proceeds was not personal profit.

Rep Maxine Waters voters will ultimately decide if her actions were appropriate or not.

There are 435 Congressmen and only one President. A President should always be held to a higher ethical standard because that person's actions have far greater consequences.

President Biden was implying that this argument is bogus because hand held weapons would be no match against the awesome power of most nation's military.

The 2nd Amendment, from the day it was passed, limited the type of weapons that citizens could own. For example, you cannot buy a cannon.
