... the ex President suckered in the global media with his good understanding of how every media outlet is hungry for new content to attract and retain viewers to maitain advertising revenue. A few of his words got him multi million $ in broadcast time which is certainly a powerful tool at his disposal for good or bad.

I suspect the words he choose were an attempt to influence the US justice system by creating a media circus plus rattle the US Congress to his defence.
