If it was a one time thing I would tend to agree with you, however he has a long history of racist comments and actions. Just his unwillingness to condemn a white supremacist after intentionally running over and killing a protester in Chartottesville is enough evidence for me.

Languages change. It may have meant something different, at one time. But let's face it: when someone says "racism," we know what it means.

Either way, Trump clearly condemns it--both in the language that he uses and in his business practices. There might be a couple of racists left in the world today, but they don't represent a voting power. No one could possibly get elected on a 'racist' ticket. Racism is, for all intents and purposes, dead.

Have you seen the Mike Wallace interview of Morgan Freeman?

Video quality is terrible but I couldn't agree more with Morgan on that one. Mind you I'm not saying everyone should just simply shut up about the whole thing. After growing up in Germany and Texas, I can't say honestly that I won't say anything about it. What I see when it comes to Trump is a mix of diplomacy (the art of knowing what not to say) and the disdain that everyone should have for such repulsive subject matter. But, that's just my observation.

Sorry, this does not condemn a white supremacist for intentionally running over and killing a human being. This statement doesn't even mention the white supremacist. It actually sounds like he is condemning the person for being killed.

He was basically giving the white supremacist a free pass by not even mentioning him, and also spreading the blame for the killing to both sides.

A man killed another person intentionally. Nothing was mentioned of this by your pres.
He simply stated that bad things were done by "many sides". When in fact, bad things were only done by one side. The white supremacist side.
We were discussing the incident in Charlottesville, so please don't make a general statement about me concerning the larger evil of racism.
