WOW temperatures of 120 in Death Valley!!! You do realize your talking about a desert where the 20 hottest days since NOAA started keeping track in 1961 were all between 128 and 130. I have heard people tell of even higher temperatures prior to 1961. That is why they call it Death Valley.

As for the rest of the Pacific Southwest, nothing new. We know how to take care of ourselves.
