Re: How Russia hacked the Democrats email

Since this thread started in Nov 2017, Trump supporters have blindly and sometimes with poor manners and coarse language defended President Trump's every denial that the Russians hacked the 2016 elections.

After the widely criticized Helsinki Summit with President Putin, President Trump finally publicly acknowledged this week that he agreed with the US Senate, US Dept of Justice, the CIA, NSA and other key gov't bodies that Russia interfered in the 2016 US elections.

While many Americans participating in this thread thought this was somehow an attack on the USA and tried to bully non Americans for continuously advancing the topic, the thread was really an examination of the trade craft that Russia uses around the world to weaken western democracy and to advance its own corrupt agenda.

To some, I would say, you have been lead down the garden path.

It is also pretty clear that the only reason trump reversed his statements made in Helsinki is because of pressure from within the Republican party. If not for that, he would not have changed it.

Re: How Russia hacked the Democrats email

I now longer believe President Trump's line that the existence of Russian election hacking in 2016, now acknowledged by President Trump, did not change a single vote in the 2016 Presidential election.

Key Trump ad buyers were able to shift their limited $ campaign ad buys, based upon data stolen by the Russians and supplied to the Trump campaign, providing key Hillary strategic voting strategy information, away from their planned use in Florida to Michigan.

It has been said that 68,000 votes in Michigan cost the Democrats the election and gave President Trump the election.

I am not quite sure on all of the facts but potentially the Trump campaign got a huge strategic boost aided by Russian hacking by knowing exactly where to spend their limited ad money at key moments in the final months of the Presidential campaign.

No compelling evidence has been revealed to the public besides the statements made by agencies which I find to essentially have gone rogue. No one seems to mention how interesting Peter Strzok's text messages seem to have been which probably lead to his dismissal which is factual evidence revealed in a congressional hearing. I would gladly believe that there is some grand game afoot if evidence is revealed. It is unfortunate that this will all go down as the world's most convincing conspiracy theory. Not to mention the fact that heavily biased former and active CIA and FBI community members are attempting to influence not only the elections but criminal investigations. People that disbelieve the allegations that Russia interfered with election results and furthermore Trump had a hand in it are simply using common sense to view evidence. As it were in this case a lack thereof. People that claim to believe in their word that this is a grand conspiracy would have told you an election ago to distrust the government and now they believe them wholesale. People have compromised both their personal integrity and their own intelligence to buy into some narrative drive agenda that turned into some bizarre James Bond story where Trump and Putin both have rings with an octopus prominently featured on it. Even still what of Chinese intervention in our elections? I'm sure you could find evidence of that and plenty of politicians with plenty of yuan in their pockets. Where's the outcry for that? It must be convenient to be blinded by such a sideshow to forget that we are at war with the Chinese. Likely someday it will turn into armed conflict. Perhaps we should be focusing on the bigger threat after we've realized we have wasted our time.

unlike a lot of folks... I really feel with all the spying on private companies... intellectual theft... tariffs ( even before DJT's were talked about ) devaluation of their OWN dollar to rig the pricing world wide.... taking over of part of the " world ocean " for their military islands... buddies with NoKo-Iran-Russia are MORE of a reason to class THEM as our major foe ( their economy is equal to ours while Russia is floundering ) on the world stage.

It is truly disturbing how people will, in spite of compelling evidence, simply stick their heads in the sand just because of partisan beliefs. All intelligence agencies in the US reported Russian interference in the 2016 election. It is simply impossible they are all compromised.

Power mongers. (Those thirsting in wantoness)
To get power and status you require a large following of people.
To get a large following of people you need a common axiom or unified belief system.
The most common axiom or belief is that money has a value.
While people "believe" the money system has value, those same people can be lead to follow anything.

Amschel Meyer Rothschild (1773-1855)Was the head of the bank in Frankfurt, Germany, which was known as M. A. Rothschild and Sons. It closed in 1901, after the deaths of Meyer Karl and his brother Wilhelm Karl, the sons of Karl Meyer Rothschild. In 1838, he said: "Permit me to issue and control the money of a nation, and I care not who makes its laws".
While there is a belief in a system people will follow that system.
People believe that money is power, and those power mongers do horrendous deeds to other people to get their wantonness money belief transformed into their power belief.
Look at me --I have money, power and now social status.

Why then do those sitting on the mountain top still want for more, is it to fill that empty hole inside their soul...

People are 98% orangutan DNA and the majority behave totally in accord with their law-of-jungle DNA profile.
Inauguration to the "AI cancel-culture" fraternity 1997...

Calling me a liberal is not as insulting as you think it is. I am glad I have empathy for people besides myself.
Having said that, this is not a partisan issue. This is an issue about a person who believes he is smarter than everybody else, but is actuality he is not very smart at all. He is simply a bully who thinks people should bow before him and when they don't he throws a tantrum on twitter.

Missouri Democratic Senator Claire McCaskill said thursday that Russians unsuccessfully attempted to hack her Senate computer network via a phishing attack on her emails.

Hackers sent forged emails to targets in the US Senate with malicious links when clicked upon.

Missouri is considered a toss up state by CNN in the Nov 2018 mid term elections as the Democratic Senator seeks reelection in a state that went for Trump in 2016.

At the Aspen Security Forum last week, the Microsoft VP for customer security said that Russia has attempted to hack into the online accounts of staffers on three congressional campaigns ahead of the midterm elections this year. The allegations from Microsoft marks the first major public accusations of attempted interference by Russia in the 2018 elections.
