BTW--who here has done grilled PB&J?

Or here's one better. When I worked at Dominoes, we used to make a PB&J pizza.
I frequently do grilled PB&J for lunch during cold weather.

Interesting idea just inspired by the grilled PB&J. I have one of those copper flipwich sandwich grills. And a fresh loaf of raisin bread. Now tomorrow a spacial treat to try. Raisin bread PB&J sandwich into the flipwich and see how that turns out. Might even extend that experimet to adding some thinly sliced apple into the middle too.

I didn't read all of the replies, but why not just buy uncrustables? They have the perfect ratio of peanut butter to jelly...eliminate the work of making the sandwich.

Making the sandwich is part of the joy. you can smear the thickness of the components to your preference.

Lazy man's method. Maybe the "sales" is your handle is the explanation.

I went to mom's as I do every Sunday. She made me a grilled PB&J with crispy bacon on it. It was awesome.

After reading this thread again, I had to get up and make one. Raspberry preserves.

I've studied the ancient scrolls and the Greeks were the original PB&J inventors. Their process was rather primitive but they spread the peanut butter on both sides of the psomi with grape (or olive) jelly when their army was mobilizing. Their women were more sparing with the PB and only used it on one side. So, there you have it!
