    Worked for one's with and without dress shirts. I can tell you when you have a shirt an a tie on customers tend to believe more of what you say.

      My company does not have a written dress code. As long as you look presentable you're fine. I wear button down shirts and slacks. Both black. I prefer shirts with double pockets as those are the only ones I've found that have a pocket on the left side which I prefer.

        Went to casual dress about 20 years ago. Was able to lighten up my toolbag by removing scissors I kept handy in case my necktie got pulled into machine
