There's a difference between 'hate speech' and 'speech that you hate'. With that said, I agree a private company has the right to ban any kind of speech it doesn't like. That's the reason folks are a fool to get their news from twitter or FB.

I do believe that web hosts in the USA have to be licensed by the FCC in order to operate. If the FCC or Congress in 2 years determines that said hosts are in violation of individual rights that they could be forced to cease all US operations.

I occasionally work with Corporate Compliance officers. These same people can be lawyers who manage several smaller enterprises. The risks keep growing bigger for any company with annual sales of $1M or more.

The financial risks of hacking supercede free speech in most corporations so individuals or groups who violate a website Terms & Conditions are quickly removed.

In 2021, words and thoughts can have legal consequences.

Well I have been insulted by bsm2 on a couple of occasions, did I report him, no I survived the school playground all those years ago.
