Ok I made a post yesterday about several countries' trust in their media in which Canada scored 44% which is way higher than the UK and US which is 28% and 29% respectively. If these statistics are to be believed there are a lot more Canadian's that just accept what they are told than the other two countries mentioned. This is apparent in what you and SSG post.

Huh? My post about the submarines wasn't even directed at you. Personally I don't care if you believe the media. Where do you get your information? Is it some form of media? Do you trust it?
Is it only media that supports your leanings that you trust?

Sometime back the BBC attempted to discredit Boris Johnson by using four-year-old film of him and pretending it happened recently. The public noticed however and the bbc were forced to make an apology.

Channel 4 had arranged a debate over climate change with politicians, however they had decided from the beginning to replace the conservative representative with an ice sculpture claiming that they had failed to turn up. A well-known conservative was filmed by a YouTuber outside the studio's asking why they would not let him in.

New Poll from CBSnews and YouGov for you guys that shows the overall distrust of the media when it comes to the Chinese Coronavirus.
The poll asked 2,493 registered voters questions about America, coronavirus, policy, and the presidential candidates.

According to the 112-page battleground tracker report, only 35 percent of Americans trust the mainstream media for COVID-19 informationcbsnews_20200906_US_release1.pdf - Google Drive

Just goes to show that the media (especially liberal media) may just be entering into a death-spiral.
It's gotten so bad for them that even Don Lemon has been changing his rhetoric the past couple weeks (maybe he'll jump over to FOX where the ratings are good).
They have watched their ratings TANK over the past 3 1/2 years, and are just now starting to take notice, because their terrible news reporting is killing their stations/ networks!

"Wednesday, Sept. 2 Scoreboard: Another Total Viewer and Demo Win for Tucker Carlson

By Jason Lynch on Sep. 3, 2020 - 5:42 PMComment

In the adults 25-54 demo, CNN is No. 2 in total day and MSNBC is second in prime, but Fox News remains on top."

Fox does well with older viewers who are home all day. Not so well with younger viewers where CNN and MSNBC are the preferred media source.

On any given day, the total viewership of CNN and MSNBC combined equals Fox.

Understand that Fox opinion hosts behave the way they do to increase their ratings and thereby their revenues. The Fox hosts are playing/acting a character. They do not actually have to believe or endorse what they say. They just need you to keep watching.

The thing is that it was, according to local news coverage, an unprecedented endorsement from the Bay of Pigs Veterans. So Trump could accurately boast about it. But he often seems to prefer wrongness to even impressive-sounding correctness - no truth too good not to embellish.

So, it has come to the point where a made up award is something to crow about? I am not trying to diminish the people who presented this or Hispanic voters but, really?
