Your still in Fantasy Trump Land my friend.
President Trump and his Administration disregard of scientific evidence for Month's and the President's downplayed the virus as a HOAX! The President Wasted weeks or months of valuable time for US to produce the necessary items we now lack to fight the Virus. The President has failed and continues to fail as most states now have to fill the void. Support from the Federal Government is way behind even third world countries in testing for the Virus.
Sad but the facts are many Americans will die and suffer do to Trumps failure to lead.Comment

Until the successes and failures of the Trump Presidency's Covid-19 response affect loyal Trump supporters personally, they are unlikely to change their mind on who to vote for in Nov 2020.
Currently, multiple US State Governors seems to be doing a much more effective job in managing this crisis than the Federal gov't.
There is talk that Trump should get off the Podium and let VP Mike Pence lead the response.Comment

the STATE should be handelng the local problems... they are more aware of what they have..what they need. Now after meeting with 45 the state governors were ask by the Admin to make their " wish lists ".. most of the republican and those dem governors ( swing states held by 45 before) were quick to respond. Hospitals are not public held (for the most part) those that are have stricter guidelines under the ideals of ACA ( not completely abolished ) on how/when/which to treat.
Trumps approvle rating has continued has continued to rise even due to the 'pandemic'. As the WHO has finally admitted .. Trump has followed the proper procedure.
Keep in mind, most cases in the EU were found out AFTER we found cases here in the USA AND most came from the EU or due to people not following proper FLU guidelines: wash hands.. stay away from others.. no large gatherings. It has been 3 months since "found out" but 4.5 months since China knew but failed to inform the world. In Six months during the H1N1 outbreak (6mos = 12,000 deaths) where -=O=- was inactive... #45 jumped on it despite calls of foul from the left and the media.
Imagine if Trump had let this go and did NOTHING for six months.Comment

More often than not, problems should be handled as close to local as possible and not by a large central government. An excellent study on that principle would Issac Asimov's Foundation Trilogy.
The news media really need to shelter in place. Governments and medical professionals at all levels could function much better if the media would just shut up and get out of the way.Comment

The coronavirus pandemic is the most severe threat to public health that the United States has confronted in decades. It’s also causing unimaginable damage to our economy, putting working families and middle class Americans under agonizing financial strain.

The United States didn’t do that.
And now a tragic and inescapable truth is clear: even though the senior-most medical and intelligence experts in the United States government were sounding the alarm about coronavirus for months, President Trump neglected, minimized, and lied about this virus. He failed to expeditiously get us enough tests, respirators, ventilators and other vital equipment when his peers in other countries did their duty and stood up for their people.
