You said you have FUN with this stuff, correct? I'd love to hear Trudeau express his love for Castro to all the Cubans who risked their life to escape Cuba for the USA. They were under the impression that Castro was a murderous thug. But what do they know? I guess we should defer to Trudeau.

I believe trudeau is better than the alternative conservative leader, but that's as far as it goes. Is I have said before I don't really like politicians and I am not beholden to any of them, trudeau included.

You have a golden opportunity to heavily criticize Trudeau for his glowing words of a brutal dictator - Fidel Castro. Yet, all you can muster up is that you don't like politicians in general. That doesn't pass the smell test.

More than 200 migrant teenagers on Monday were sent to a reopened facility in Carrizo Springs, Texas, according to CBS News, with plans to expand the number of detained children to 700 in facilities across the country.




Both President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris strongly condemned such facilities during the 2020 presidential campaign, accusing former President Donald Trump of putting children and “babies in cages.”
“Under Trump, there have been horrifying scenes at the border of kids being kept in cages, tear-gassing asylum seekers, ripping children from their mothers’ arms,” Biden wrote in an op-ed in the Miami Herald in 2019, accusing Trump of “actions that subvert American values and erode our ability to lead on the global stage.”

AOC on Joe Biden Opening Migrant Holding Facility: ‘This Is Not Okay’



Days after Biden took office, DHS officials moved forward with plans to construct and open a processing center in Donna, Texas, near the Rio Grande Valley Sector’s existing processing center.

Biden, in August 2019, said, “Close them down!” and “We don’t need them” when talking about border detention facilities that President Trump’s administration had utilized to control migration.

In a series of statements, Ocasio-Cortez — who once compared border detention facilities to “concentration camps” in 2019 — denounced the Biden administration for opening the facilities and said DHS “shouldn’t exist.”

“This is not okay, never has been okay, never will be okay — no matter the administration or party,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote in reference to the Carrizo Springs facility.

“It’s only [two months] into this admin and our fraught, unjust immigration system will not transform in that time,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote. “That’s why bold reimagination is so [important]. DHS shouldn’t exist, agencies should be reorganized, ICE gotta go, ban for-profit detention, create climate refugee status & more.”
