    Happy Thanksgiving....

Happy Thanksgiving to all. This is one of the few times a year family and friends can gather and give thanks. I hope all my fellow members on the forum that celebrate this holiday have a great day!

What a shame a certain political party (don't talk politics at the thanksgiving table) want to take this holiday away from us. Just like taking down statues, change school & post office names, etc, etc

    GOD BLESS AMERICA

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
              1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
              2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
              3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
              4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
              5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I hope everyone here that celebrates Thanksgiving had a blessed day.

This ( in my family ) was always spent remembering, sharing, have all the family and close friends around us. Of course, there was brunch and Dinner.

This has followed through since mom-dad died and John (bro) is in assisted living (location??)

But my son has carried on my duties as head chef.
                Smoked Cajun Turkey
                Oyster/Cranberry Stuffing
Green Bean Casserole w/ Almond Slivers and Sweet Onion Fried onion topping mushroom soup/shrp Cheddar Cheese
Mashed redskin Potato w/ sour cream & fresh chives
                Buttered Brussell Sprouts
                Home Made Cheddar Biscuits
                Giblet Gravy
                Pecan Mud Pie
                Pumpkin Pie.

Lotsa great memories were talked about.

We even did some target practice in the back yard.

                    Hey Bro,

This is what the holiday is suppose to be. For family & friends to gather and spend time together.

Only people that don't have love in their hearts would want to take away any holiday that brings people together. It will never happen!

As for England I believe the 1st Thanksgiving was Pilgrams from England & American Indians? So thanks to England or we wouldn't have this day to celebrate our thanks.

The Pilgrams were fleeing England partially due to religious freedom. They ( like the founding fathers) were not willing to abide by the Kings Church of England and the state. Those separatists were considered treasonous.
