minorityNew cases reported peaked5,090 reported new cases of coronavirus in China.
Though small upticks were reported every few days, daily decreases in new cases soon followed, leading to just 327 new cases reported two weeks later on Feb. 27. On March 6, the last day data was reported, there were only 99 new cases.

At first, the media’s concern was warranted. An exotic virus pops up in China and begins spreading quickly. Then it turns out to be deadly (never mind that it’s deadly in the vast minority of cases and those are overwhelmingly contained within the age 70+ demographic). Then it goes international. Then the media chatter starts to spook markets that depend on China. Then market corrections start. That’s the stuff of a media feeding frenzy, and feed the media has.
Stories abound about new cases, new borders crossed and new famous and/or powerful people quarantining themselves.
Those stories, however, don’t really get at the root question we need to ask at this point in the drama.

The question we should be asking is whether or not the daily number of new cases is increasing inside different countries.
Until the virus is eradicated entirely, new cases will continue to pop up. That’s definitionally true. And as long as there are new cases and enough people traveling internationally, the virus will cross borders.

These shouldn’t be novel concepts, though the media continues to treat them as new apostolic revelations.
What’s far more helpful than the plain number of new cases is the number of new cases compared to the previous day. If daily new cases increase over time, then the contagion hasn’t peaked and more concern is warranted.
If, however, the number of daily new cases begins to decrease over time, it’s likely a critical milestone has been hit and the virus is on its way to being controlled if not eradicated (for all intents and purposes).
If new cases consistently decrease day after day, the eventual elimination of the virus is inevitable — eventually, the new case count hits zero and stays there.
(Of course, someone’s always going to have a pesky strain of the flu or common cold — but as far as the survival of humanity goes, the new case count will be essentially zero.)
Take China for example. New cases reported peaked on Feb. 12, but since that was due largely in part to a reporting hiccup, let’s take the next day as our peak. Feb. 13 saw 5,090 reported new cases of coronavirus in China.
Though small upticks were reported every few days, daily decreases in new cases soon followed, leading to just 327 new cases reported two weeks later on Feb. 27. On March 6, the last day data was reported, there were only 99 new cases.

Responding to Coronavirus Testing Problems, U.S. Government Expands Number of Labs That Can Run Tests

fter a slow and criticized rollout of U.S. government-designed testing kits for the novel coronavirus COVID-19, federal agencies enforced new policies to scale up capacity to conduct tests and produce results more quickly. On Feb. 29, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) expanded its Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) policy

That's interesting because here in California local, county and state health officials have all the test kits they need.

Or maybe it is that you personally are unable to get a hold of kits. That is because CDC and WHO have dictated that kits will only be supplied to approved medical service agency and are to be used only on those showing possible signs of infection. It is never going to be something that you can go to your local pharmacy and purchase OTC like you do with a pregnancy test kit.

REMEMBER PEOPLE. THIS DISEASE IS MORE THAN LIKELY NOT GOING TO KILL YOU!!! PEOPLE WHO ALREADY HAVE COMPROMISED IMMUNE SYSTEMS AND THE VERY OLD AND VERY WEAK ARE AT MOST RISK!

                        WASH YOUR HANDS MORE FREQUENTLY!!

                        USE COMMON FUCKING SENSE!!

Health experts have come out to say that there is almost NOTHING ANY GOVERNMENT around the world could have done to stop this virus from spreading.

The media keeps portraying this thing as something that will certainly kill you, and is stoking fear in our communities (which is where they want us - scared and "dependent" on the media/government). They (liberal media) are literally cheering that the economy is so bad, because it might "hurt Trump's chances". Pretty sad when elected officials and news media CHEER FOR A BAD ECONOMY. Again, the Trump admin. really has no control over the stock market, so for the media to say "because the stock market is tanking must mean Trump is doing a terrible job, and may hurt his chance at re-election", is bunch of bullshit. Not to mention that aside from the "coronavirus fears causing stocks to plummet", there's this "little" episode between Saudi Arabia and Russia that is believed to be more of a driving force for the fall than the virus. BUUUTTT, the media has people believing that Trump is to blame for it all. Wouldn't surprise me if this was all the work of the DNC from the start.

South Korea 15,000 plus tests a DAY!
The Same scientists that you say Republicans don't believe in, are part of the reason we are underequipped here in America.
We had the chance to use the same tests as China, but certain scientists, CDC officials, and WHO officials decided they needed to "create a new test".
We also had the chance to use the same tests that a company in Germany developed, but again, it was said that "we should design our own".
In a report from CNN it says, "South Korea has the ability to run about 15,000 diagnostic test per day and has conducted 196,000 tests to date nationwide." They don't actually administer 15,000 tests a day, but if they had to they could. The small size of South Korea also helps with testing.

The Berlin, Germany company (referred to above) that makes test kits said they have made 40,000 test kits in just over 2 months. Those 40,000 test kits amount to about 4 million individual tests.
Going on as we speak, clinics/ hospitals/ etc. in America are receiving test kits, and have been receiving kits. Pence said that upwards of 1.5 Million kits are being shipped around the country. If they follow the same "design" as the Berlin company that means upwards of 150 Million individual tests.
The dozen or so companies that are cranking out these tests FOR THE ENTIRE WORLD are running full-steam, but can't keep up with demand for the tests.

So go ahead and Fuck Off you Trump Deranged, Fear mongering, Clueless Dickhead!
