Re. Corona virus and the Bull-run on shopping centres to buy up Toilet paper.

I'm a tad perplexed... I'm actually at lost for any sense of reason.

Why would there be a bull-run on stocking up on toilet paper supplies in an emergency?
Why wouldn't people stock up on food supplies first and foremost?

In all sincere logic and reasoning ,if you don't eat, you don't crap Ie. no food supply.
If you don't crap, then you don't need toilet paper.

I'm at a serious surprised loss as to how many people are being drawn into social media hysteria.

Is there an increase in stock exchange prices for toilet paper shares?

In a few more weeks time I will be able to barter with sheets of toilet paper as an exchange system. Monetary paper and toilet paper are not on an equal par. In an pandemic emergency monetry paper has less useful value than toilet paper...

just saying...

For some reason it often sometimes takes very little to kick the citizenry into a toilet paper buying frenzy. Many of you are probably too young to remember this The Great Toilet Paper Scare of 1973

My company only has a small number of techs. We will be dispatched from home starting Mon and we are not to be in the office at the same time. Trying to avoid having the whole crew in isolation.

Yeah, coming from a man appearing to be in his 40's and healthy. Oh, and he is laying in a hospital bed, and has been tested twice by the test (you know, the one that is not going to be available for a month). Prediction from the government Dr in charge of this in the US says that 150,000,000 people in this country will likely catch the virus. As far as i can tell by crunching available numbers, there appears to be about a 4% fatality rate. If he is correct, that would mean when this is all said and done 6,000,000 people in this country alone will die from the "not so scary virus".

I am wondering where you got that 150,000,000 number? You realize that it is roughly 50% of the US population projected to be 333,546,000 this year. It is also the same number that Joe Biden claimed killed by guns since 2007.

The thing is, this isnt just 14 days quarantine and you are cleared for good. Until Vaccine is ready, and this thing is understood...gosh who knows...

Its not as bad, but man the ones not coming back didn't go in peace..

The thing is, this isnt just 14 days quarantine and you are cleared for good. Until Vaccine is ready, and this thing is understood...gosh who knows...

Its not as bad, but man the ones not coming back didn't go in peace..

And even though there have been breakthroughs on a vaccine, one won't be available for from several months to a year by the time all the testing is done.
