He noted that DeSantis' order giving parents the right to choose whether their student will wear a mask remains in effect until the court submits its final ruling.

I think the real question is "Why do unvaccinated people use the the fact that ones who are vaccinated can still contract covid as a justification to not get vaccinated"?
Do they not look at the real stats? Do they not see that the unvaccinated make up over 85% of the people contracting and dying from covid D?
Has their self preservation instinct been completely decimated by their political views?

I've said it before, but here goes again.
IF the masks work, and you choose to wear one, then it should not be a problem if I am not wearing one. You're protected, right?
IF the vaccines work as they're saying, and you choose to get one, then it should not be a problem if I don't get one. You're protected, right?
IF you have been vaccinated, still wear a mask, and still choose to social distance, then you should be super comfortable around ANYONE. You're protected, right?
IF you have been vaccinated, still wear a mask, and still choose to social distance, but then you end up getting sick or testing positive, what does that tell you? You're NOT protected, right?

If a vaccinated person still carries the same viral load as an unvaccinated person (proven by many studies), and can still get sick (proven), and can still spread the virus (proven), and can still be hospitalized (proven), and in some cases still die (proven), then that would tell you, again, that you're NOT actually protected, right?
When it was shown through various studies and research that Masks had ZERO to negligible effect on stopping the spread of the virus throughout this pandemic, then that would also tell you that you weren't necessarily protected, right?

I understand the elderly and weak and paranoid getting it, but I don't see the need for EVERYONE needing to get it. Doesn't make any sense.
People have the FREEDOM to make the choice to wear a mask, but you don't have the "FREEDOM" to impose "your choice" on me.

I am not anti vax-I am vaccinated,but I feel it is your choice, people who have not got vaccinated have many different reasons and valid ones. As for political views I dont really believe either side really gives a shit about me-us. The only real reason they might want you alive is to get your vote. I cant think of one thing in my lifetime where I think Damn the government did a awesome job and they helped me out real good. They are the cause of most of my problems.

98% of those who became seriously ill or died were:
-Extremely Old, Weak, and Frail.
-Obese.
-Diabetic.
-Immuno compromised.
-Those who suffer from a "chronic disease".
-Hypertension.
-Heart issues.

Per the CDC, "94% of individuals who died from Covid had 2.5 additional underlying causes such as hypertension, diabetes, or a respiratory disease."

Protect those people. I don't need your "protection".

One additional fact about vaccinated people who still end up becoming infected with the virus, they can remain asymptomatic. That means that they have no symptoms, not even an elevated temperature. But they are still able to infect people around them. If people like bsm2 and his family become infected it will most likely be from someone who is vaccinated, asymptomatic and s a guest in his home or he is a guest in theirs. One other place he is likely to become infected is a test station if he gets tested regularly. That is where those that have symptoms go to be tested.

Not really true... in CA you can infect people with AIDS and nothing happens to you.
Same with MASS.
But that's not them dems current plan of action.
But it's ok to take kids away from parents because the parent isn't vaccinated.

There is one SMALL problem with your logic. It is the unvaccinated that cause the virus to mutate which creates possibly even more transmissible and/or more deadly versions. That affects me and others who have been vaccinated.
Do you even have a reason to not get vaccinated?
