The very liberal website Politico.com lays out the real reason why democrats are dropping mask mandates and other covid restrictions.

Are they following the science? No. Is it because they're trying to save their own ass in the upcoming midterms elections that are only months away? You betcha.

A word of caution: As soon as the election is over, democrats will return to mask mandates and other restrictions because they believe (my opinion) that lockdowns help global warming.

The party's governors are ditching them. Its swing-state lawmakers are ready to follow. But not everyone agrees, and it may be too little, too late.

I think this is further proof that we were duped into the whims of the federal government via fear and intimidation. If you believe otherwise, you should continue to wear your mask and avoid going out in public as much as possible.

If a person is black and loots, robs, or burns down a building, it's cool with liberals. But if a few truckers decide to peacefully protest, they should be thrown under the jail.

And local citizens have joined hands creating a barrier between the RCMP officers and the truckers. As a result the officers are just standing there looking like idiots. Time for Trudeau to resign in shame.
