It’s strange....... when people here in America burned down buildings, assaulted people, and shut down sections of major US cities, and incited violence towards government officials and opposing voices for MONTHS (“protesting”), you liberals cheered them on, and said fuck law and order! It was merely a “summer of Love”. It was RACIST AND BIGOTED to call out the “protesters” for what they really were (terrorists). “They’re just standing up for their rights” you liberals said, “you can’t persecute or prosecute them for their actions ”, Hell.....even prominent Democrats helped them with donations and bail money!!! You didn’t care about the effects the riots and occupations had on small businesses and citizens, but now it’s “these truckers are affecting small business owners and neighborhoods”, ignoring the fact that the draconian mandates in your country made those businesses suffer far worse consequences than this protest. Again, the hypocrisy is mind-boggling!

Now that there’s a legitimate, well-funded, and well-organized (and actually peaceful) protest (with an opposing view), you’re suddenly for law and order, and for the police to intervene, for people to be jailed and fined, and for the protesters to literally “lose their livelihoods”! The hypocrisy is astounding!

Recent polling shows that a majority of Canadians support the convoy, unlike the riots here in America, where 80% of Americans Did NOT support what was happening.

Your shitty government and the cowardly leader at the top are in extreme panic-mode, and are trying desperately to hold on to the communistic stranglehold they’ve had for so long. This is what happens when the Government push too hard, people snap, whether it's a load of trucks or half a million people in London the cause is the same, they don't want restrictions, mandatory vaccinations and covid apps. As for protests beginning to happen elsewhere, there were loads in London last year largely ignored by the main stream media, so I will forgive you for not knowing that.

.... counter protests in Canada are becoming more common. The theme being people are resentful of the disruption to their peaceful lives and the selfish disrespect that people are showing to the many sacrifices that front line responders have made over the last two years to keep the population safe.

Police have started to arrest protesters Sunday morning.

With over 80% of Canadians and 90% of Canadian truckers vaccinated against COVID sympathy for the protests is declining.

The Canadian Federal gov't and most provincial gov'ts are posed to relax many COVID restrictions in the next few days due to the success of the vaccination program.

You can push people only so for before they fight back. The protest in Canada started out being about vaccinations but now it's morphed into a rallying point against broader COVID-19 curbs, carbon tax and other issues, with people joining in cars, pick-up trucks and farm vehicles.
