Allow me to translate: Canada doesn't have enough vaccine to go around, so you'll wait an additional 4-months to get the 2nd dose and that will free up an additional 70,000 doses for younger folks.

Canada is now receiving on a weekly basis 450,000 Pfizer doses per week air freight from Belgium. This is supplemented with more weekly doses from Moderna and AstraZeneca.

Canada has now procured more COVID-19 doses per capita than any other country in the world.

1,500 nurses were COVID-19 vaccinated in Nova Scotia this week. There are 14,000 nurses in Nova Scotia. 2,500 nurses were already vaccinated. All nurses are expected to be vaccinated by the mid April.

My daughter, the young nurse, rec'd her Pfizer vaccine today. Because the vaccine is stored at extremely low temperatures, it has to be first diluted with saline at room temperature before it can be injected into your body. Afterwards she had a mild headache for a few hours and felt very tired. The injection itself was painless.

The Doctor informed her that she will not be fully immune from COVID-19 until at least six months pass by.

Procured means to get possession of something. What you meant to say it that Canada made a deal to get the vaccine but those deals didn't work out like expected and that's why Canada is dragging the rear and ranks behind most countries...including the USA...by FAR.

In the last two weeks Canada has taken delivery of 900,000 doses of vaccine. So, yes they were procured.
