Fauci said it's over-reaction to ban flights from the United Kingdom. That's YOUR expert. You're not disagreeing with an expert are you? Why is Canada banning the U.K.?

PS. Experts aren't always right, but generally more often right than wrong when it comes to the field they are expert in.
Also, as situations progress new information will occasionally change the experts advice.

Well it looks like the new Coronavirus stimulus package is going to pass and get signed.

As it stands every one making less than $75,000 will get a whooping one time $600. Of course they will include children so the welfare mom with 10 kids by 10 different fathers will get $6,600. That should buy her one hell of a high.

Those on unemployment will get an extra $300 a week through March 14th. That is half of what they were getting at the first part of the year but still more than $1200 a month. And then there is the fact that the Democrats no longer need to buy their votes for now.

And hey business executives now get to deduct their business lunches. And small businesses get loan help through the Payroll Protection Program (PPP). Almost a third of the total amount of the package.

The big question is why those on unemployment get $300 a week in addition to the one time $600 and yet senior citizens trying to get by on Social Security only get the $600.

You article from April is dated and does not take into account the extended benefits that were offered to all Canadians until Oct 31 2020. A new enhanced Unemployment Insurance benefit will take Canadian citizens well into March 2021.

... nor does it have anything to do with the COVID-19 relief bill that will hopefully pass the US Senate tonight.

... suggesting that US citizens who require welfare assistance are all Queens is socially degrading.

People can end up on welfare due to no fault of their own.

- like a mother with three children who loses her job and cannot find work
- like a mother with three children who suffers a serious health issue and cannot work
- like a mother with three children abandoned by the father.
