nope i'm just amazed that you would follow such a failure 48 years in politics and what does he have to show for it(besides all the racial slurs)? nothing except a dead son... and a crackhead ... do nothing father to a bastard child from a drug ravaged stripper..and an adulterer with his brothers wife

New York lawmakers are irate over the White House’s decision to renew the Canada border shutdown for yet another month.
Nonessential travel between Canada and the U.S. has been closed since March 2020, and the two nations have extended the closure on a month-to-month basis.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Canada has not yet vaccinated enough of its residents to loosen restrictions.

"We’re still seeing cases across the country and we want to get them down," Trudeau said, according to The Associated Press. "At the same time we also know we have to hit our targets of 75% vaccinated with the first dose and at least 20% vaccinated with the second dose before we can start loosening things up because even a fully vaccinated individual can pass on COVID-19 to someone who is not vaccinated."

Biden credited scientists, companies, the American people and his whole-of-government effort on the milestone. The president noted that 65% of adults have received at least one shot, setting the stage for most Americans to have a relatively normal summer as businesses reopen and employers hire.

That report and corresponding data were from a couple days ago (6/16/21), and pulled from Canadian news sites and health sources.
Now, after re-checking today, i see some of those same sources saying anywhere from 10 - 15% fully vaccinated. Which is better than 9%, but still WAYYY off the mark.
Don't you guys want to reach herd immunity up there? At this rate it's going to take you until next year to get to that 35 - 50% herd immunity range.

... I am eager to get my 2nd vaccination but I cannot do so yet because it is not yet my turn.

However you try and spin this, 61% of all Canadians have at least some form of protection against COVID.

You know if Canada had concentrated getting as many of its citizens fully vaccinated, they could be at around 34.51% fully vaccinated instead of 8.02%. Your liberal government has failed you.

You do know what the recommended time between pokes is?

According to the CDC:

• If you received the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine, you should get your second shot 3 weeks (or 21 days) after your first.
• If you received the Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine, you should get your second shot 4 weeks (or 28 days) after your first.

If you got the AZ poke and didn't die from the first, authorities had sought to vaccinate more people faster by stretching the gap between shots to 16 weeks, beyond the 12-week maximum approved by the European Medicines Agency. A 16-week interval has not been tested in human trials.

I believe that Canada was one of those that wanted to extend the time between pokes.

I have heard that a number of countries have once again halted the distribution of the AZ vaccine.
