You're right.....it's not like it could kill ME! My body is 99.97% effective at keeping me Alive and Well! Proven to be quite effective this past year and a half.
The vaccine wasn't made for people like me.
I don't fit ANY of the "at risk"/ "high risk" categories.
And most of the people that have received the vaccine DO fit into those categories, such as yourself (old).
Get what I'm saying?

Same thing with any other virus such as the flu. Most people that get a flu vaccine choose to do so because they would otherwise be SEVERELY affected. People like me, who are mostly healthy, younger, and have a good immune system, aren't affected to near the degree of people in the "at risk"/ "high risk" categories, and therefore choose not to get a vaccine.

I, like you have a good immune system. Even tho I'm 64, I haven't had a flu shot in over 20 years, and with a 99% survival rate, I won't be getting this hoax shot.
There are too many side effects to this shot for me to take the jab.

The Data suggests otherwise. You do look at the factual scientific data that comes out, don't you?
While there are a few isolated cases of some younger people dying (not necessarily from the virus), the vast majority of deaths fall into the categories of:
-Old (like you).
-Weak and Frail
-Fat
-Diabetic
-Immune compromised
-Certain comorbidities.
-Any combination of the above.

Plus, with certain states like California going back and investigating their covid death numbers, they're finding in most counties they've looked at, that 25% - 30% of the deaths should be removed from the list, because they were in fact NOT covid deaths.
Experts have recently come out to say that based on California's amended numbers, this "pandemic" was really nothing more than an extremely bad flu season, when based on the avearge 13 week "flu season".
Those same experts also said that after applying the results from California's investigations to the entire United States, it would result in No Less than 200k deaths being removed from the "Covid Death List".
When you do the math....you discover that Covid is just the bad 2017 Flu!

I got my second vaccine shot today. 1st AstraZeneca. 2nd Moderna.

I am advised to avoid vaccine hesitant people for two weeks and that I have to expect that I will continue to expect to have to wear a mask for many months to come.

Demand is greater than supply. I was not scheduled for my 2nd shot until Aug 11. Somehow my province got a bonus 400,000 Moderna shots two weeks ago.

I live in what is called the Atlantic Bubble. Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland. I can now freely travel between the four provinces which is my business territory. Approx 2M people.

People who wish to arrive from outside the Atlantic Bubble have to prove 2nd vaccine status or take n instant COVID test. If they fail, they have to return home. One of our main industries is tourism.

No one complains. Everyone is happy to be safe.

The Delta and now the Lamda variant is a big motivator for many people to get their second vaccine shot as soon as possible.

I got my shot in a nearby pharmacy inside a grocery store.
