I live a few blocks off the beach where all the casinos are located. Tonight me and my brother went to eat at the buffet. I hadn't been since before covid. It was pathetic. There were no crab legs. The shrimp were scarce. The place is usually packed but it was almost dead.

To top it off the staff was rude. I've never seen anything like it. The casinos were always a stickler for detail. Also, my brother told me that most of the fast food joints are out of many menu items and are closing early because lack of people to hire.

This is bad.

Blame the feds for continuing to send out checks.

Even though I have been vaccinated I think a cruise ship would be about the last place I would want to be.

Cruise lines were hurting even before the pandemic!
With a couple of accidents that were widely televised, and the frequency of people getting sick (norovirus, flu, strep, etc.) from being in close quarters for that long, and the ever-soaring prices to make up for the lack of passengers, people's desire to go on a cruise has dwindled over the years.

You're right.....it's not like it could kill ME! My body is 99.97% effective at keeping me Alive and Well! Proven to be quite effective this past year and a half.
The vaccine wasn't made for people like me.
I don't fit ANY of the "at risk"/ "high risk" categories.
And most of the people that have received the vaccine DO fit into those categories, such as yourself (old).
Get what I'm saying?

Same thing with any other virus such as the flu. Most people that get a flu vaccine choose to do so because they would otherwise be SEVERELY affected. People like me, who are mostly healthy, younger, and have a good immune system, aren't affected to near the degree of people in the "at risk"/ "high risk" categories, and therefore choose not to get a vaccine.
