... life goes on. President Biden and the Democrats are still in power for years to come. The changing demographics of America make the Republican party less appealing to the majority of voters everyday.

Last week's landslide California election proved that the Republican message is not very popular.

The reason I believe your rants are simply political and not personal is that you said nothing, absolutely nothing, when the previous administration was separating children from their parents and holding them in cages. That was all good, but now the sky is falling, simply because there is a Dem president. Totally disingenuous.

Both Trump and Obama put kids in cages. It never bothered me when either did it. Get you facts straight before spouting off. If the illegal immigrants don't want to be separated then they need to stay out.

Moreover, my problem isn't with cages, it's with the flood of immigrants who disrespect our laws and illegally enter the country. I've complained about that going all the way back to Bill Clinton. I complained about it under Trump but the difference is Trump was doing something about it.

If you read more you would have to admit that a vast majority of border crossers are sent back.
PS: Biden has changed very little from the policies of the former administration. Again, if you read more you would have to admit that too

He did away with Trump's "Remain in Mexico Policy". Although the Supreme Court overruled him but the damage was already done. Those are 2 HUGE things.

Biden administration to raise refugee cap to 125,000 for 2022
                    By Priscilla Alvarez, CNN

Updated 1:01 PM ET, Mon September 20, 2021

(CNN)The Biden administration is planning to raise the refugee cap for fiscal year 2022 to 125,000, according to a source familiar with the decision, in line with the goal President Joe Biden set.

Biden previously conceded that his goal of 125,000 refugee admissions within the first fiscal year of his presidency "will still be hard to hit," but the expected ceiling indicates how many refugees may be admitted to the US in the coming fiscal year.

Okay, you seem unwilling to listen. Yes, the numbers crossing are up, no question, but the numbers being sent back are up as well. Biden didn't tear the wall down, so there is exactly as much wall as there was when trump was in.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott's (R) job performance rating has fallen sharply, according to a new poll that shows a majority of Texans now disapprove of him.

Forty-five percent of Texans approve of Abbott's performance as governor, while 54 percent say the state is headed in the wrong direction, according to the survey from The Dallas Morning News and the University of Texas at Tyler.

Abbott's approval rating was at 59 percent prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, which has claimed the lives of more than 60,000 people in the state, The Dallas Morning News noted.
