... you seem out of touch with the difficulties in transporting goods. There is a shortage of skilled workers everywhere. Those with skills can easily find good jobs within their workplace or other similar workplaces.

Technology is awesome. I work in it every day. But it sounds like you are totally okay with being automated out of a career. I'm not.
So much for your profit when you are no longer needed.

It's not up to Walmart to make sure that I'm needed or have a job. It's up to ME to make sure that my skills are relevant.

Not out of touch. Just not racing to embrace people being made obsolete.

You mean like oil workers and gasoline engine mechanics? Show your support.

Oh please, you know exactly what I'm referring to. What happens when your skills have been automated and you are no longer relevant?
It's okay with you when it is happening to other people, but it will be a different story when it's you.

When my skills are no longer needed, guess what? I'll learn to do something where I am needed. I mean, I can pretty much learn anything if I need to. For the most part. Why not?

.. both of those trades are in high demand with a very bright future. They can cross train into any trade. President Biden's"Build Back Better" virtually guarantees high demand for skilled union workers.

... I spend a lot of time trying to read the tea leaves on when shipments of photocopiers arrive via the various logistic channels entering Canada.

If we had 50% more inventory, especially among lower cost A4 and A3 product, we could sell it all this month.

The tea leaves aren't hard to read. When you were trying to sell that inflation was a mere blip on the radar, I told you that it wasn't gonna be temporary. All the experts are now saying that inflation is expected to last thru 2022 but that will be revised up at some point and will not come down in a meaningful way until Joe is voted out of office and replaced by a physical conservative. Write it down.
