Infrastructure bill passed by Congress includes $2.5 billion for Nebraska roads

In most of those categories, it remains to be seen how much money Nebraska will receive. But a few state-level figures were shared by the office of Sen. Deb Fischer in August after the Senate passed the bill.

Nebraska will receive about $2.5 billion to maintain and repair roads and highways. The state will also receive $216 million for two programs that provide low-interest loans for building or improving water and wastewater systems.

Nebraska is poised to receive millions more dollars to help fund other areas of critical infrastructure.

Weird how Nebraska is getting money for ACTUAL INFRASTRUCTURE, and nothing else!

For the record, I've never been against funds for ACTUAL infrastructure. I am against all the other bullshit that has nothing to do with ACTUAL INFRASTRUCTURE!

And it still doesn't change the fact that my grandkids and great-grandkids will be paying for all this spending. Government Spending is out of fucking control! And this bill isn't going to help one iota!

... if your Nebraska Republican congressmen got their way, Nebraska would have got nothing. Your state infrastructure would have decayed for another four years.

Under the ex President, who had two solid years of controlling The White House, the Senate and Congress nothing happened ... and nothing happened the two following years after that.

You cannot say the Democrats under President Biden cannot get something done. Your fellow Nebraskans will notice the improvements come election time.

... as far as nothing else goes, that is in Round 2 of President Biden's social spending bill that is up for vote later this month.
