A Capitol riot suspect accused of attacking police is now claiming asylum in Belarus.

Evan Neumann is on the FBI's most-wanted list in connection with the US Capitol riot on January 6.

He sold his California home in the Spring and fled to Europe. He has since surfaced in Belarus.

No, this move is about screwing over people in the name of profit.
It's as disgusting as self checkouts. In our local walmart they only keep two actual checkouts open now. They have hit on the holy grail of retail, FREE LABOUR!! And the moron shoppers are more than willing to provide it.

I told you from the jump about trying to strong arm companies like McDonalds and Walmart into paying a "living" wage. There's your living wage. How do you like it? Something similar will happen when you tax the rich. You have no idea what you're talking about.

USA Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigeig gave a White House Press briefing today to discuss the benefits of the President Biden's exciting & historic "Build Back Better" plan.

White House briefing with Karine Jean-Pierre and Transportation Sec. Pete Buttigieg — 11/8/21 - YouTube

It is worth watching the first 25 minutes of this briefing.

The $s to be spent will benefit Americans in all corners of the country in both Republican and Democratic states.

It is so tough to get any major legislation enacted in Washington. I think the six Democrats who did not vote for this plan were blinded by over reaching ideals. The 13 Republicans who did vote for this plan did the right thing by putting the good of their communities over mean spirited politics regardless of threats to their re-election prospects.

Stop being so ridiculous Billy boy. Everyone on here KNOWS, including you, self checkouts started way before a lot of the talk of raising the minimum wage started.

Of course it's about getting rid of human employment.
They can justify it any way they want, but it's all about profit.

.. I am sorry, you are very wrong. Both MacDonald and Walmart have increased wages to well above market rates to attract and retain quality employees.

... many of the ultra rich in America are in agreement with paying more taxes and see it as their civic duty. They have done very well by America. For them to give more back in taxes will make absolutely no difference in their lifestyles.
