Actually COVID is worse in most Democrat controlled states now than a year ago. Even with the mNRA shots there has been a higher rate of infection and death than in 2020.
He is so concerned that he is going to let them have 2.1 Billion US gallons of crude from the Strategic Petroleum Reserves. As a results of actions he has already taken, OPEC controls the current price of gasoline and they told him to go play switch when he asked them to increase production.

Re: The Shining City Upon a Hill
Please explain then how it is that President Trump received more votes in 2020 than any previous winning candidate? Could it be that in most blue states there were more total votes cast than there were legal citizens of voting age? Or maybe the number of dead people on the voting rosters who somehow managed to cast ballots from the grave?Comment

Re: The Shining City Upon a Hill
One way to lower gas prices is to lower the taxes being levied on each gallon. If you look at gas prices nationwide, heavily taxed blue states pay the most per gallon. Someone in California could come here to Texas and think we're having a black Friday gas sale. Wait, maybe that's why they are coming here...? The station by my office has been around $2.78 for a while, which is pretty good compared to a lot of other places right now.
Americans do not serve any sympathy when complaining about high gas prices.Comment

Cheated is more like it.
MSNBC(DNC) Isn't telling you about the 10-100,000 ballots in many states that have problems BUT were counted and most for Biden
Or.. the hundreds of poll workers that have been caught/admitted to changing/cheating in the election.

Ohio jury finds pharmaceutical chains responsible in precedent-setting opioid suit
A jury in Ohio ruled Tuesday that three major pharmaceutical chains bore responsibility for the opioid epidemic in two Ohio counties.
The civil case, brought in federal court against CVS (CVS), Walmart (WMT) and Walgreens, marks the first time pharmacies have been found responsible in the nationwide epidemic.
"It is a precedent setting case," Mark Lanier, the lead trial attorney for Lake and Trumbull Counties.
Damages are set to be adjudicated in the spring. Lanier said that each county would be seeking over $1 billion in damages. Together, the counties represent some 440,000 Ohioans, according to court documents.
The suit, which was initially filed in 2018, was part of the federal multi-district litigation created that year to address the manifold claims against opioid manufacturers and distributors.
The counties alleged that the pharmacies "abused their position of special trust and responsibility" as registered dispensers of controlled drugs, and in so doing "fostered a black market for prescription opioids."
"Prescription opioid pill mills and rogue prescribers cannot channel opioids for illicit use without at least the tacit support and willful blindness of the Defendants, if not their knowing support," the complaint read.
All three pharmaceutical chains indicated that they would appeal the verdict.
Counties react
The verdict was happy news to officials in Lake and Trumbull counties, where damages are expected to fund opioid abatement measures.
"Today's verdict means a lot to Lake County, because it is a substantive step forward to real healing in this epidemic," Lake County Commissioner John Plecnik . "On behalf of all Lake County families, we thank the jury for sending a powerful message to rebuke those responsible for overselling opioids."
"This verdict will also mean greater resources to combat opioid addiction, which are desperately needed," Plecnik said. "I can't say this strongly enough, no one is immune to the impact of addiction and opioid abuse, and this is not just a victory for Lake and Trumbull, it is a victory for all Americans."
"Truly, in Lake County, we have not had a corner of the county that has not been impacted by this epidemic," Kim Frasier, head of Lake County's department of Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services, said in a Tuesday afternoon press conference. "This verdict gives voice to those individuals and those families who have been so traumatized."
April Caraway, head of Trumbull County's Mental Health and Recovery Board, echoed the sentiment.
"We appreciate some vindication," she said. "This was difficult, but we wanted to do it for the people who've lost people."
Next steps
Lanier said that attorneys for both sides are still scheduling the damages phase, where Judge Dan Polster will put a dollar figure to the damages suffered by Lake and Trumbull counties. In the meantime, an appeal is expected in the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Re: The Shining City Upon a Hill
It is the lifeblood of just about EVERY countries economy.
Trump had us energy independent.. And selling oil-gas-natural gas to our world friends, Now they are buying from the middle east and Russia.
Biden is begging others for oil and because of that weakness the AMERICAN citizens are paying higher prices at the pump.
Food costs more because it has to be trucked around.
Electricity costs more because of fuel needed to run those plants, costs more because of Biden.
Heating our homes is projected to cost $1,000 more per household (averaged out) to heat our homes this winter.
Not everyone can afford the electric cars nor solar panels.
Not every region is conducive to wind power.
