No, all we have ever seen you recommend is FTP and never SFTP, secure FTP. Every corporate IT and school IT that I have dealt with would never allow standard FTP to be used. And only SFTP that they have tested and approved.

I talk to one of the leading internet security university professors on a daily basis.

I have seen him post elsewhere. Mostly on threads that have to do with scanning of folder. He always suggests using FTP, never SFTP. He always gets slapped down for doing so. Apparently security was not part of his certification. It was the major part of my training to be a Unit Information Manager in the Army.

I have seen him on a few other threads as well where he also gets slapped down for not knowing what he is talking about or has zero understanding of the topic of the thread.
