I gotta say, I never expected CNN and MSNBC to turn on Biden this fast. That just shows how wildly unpopular his handling of Afghanistan has been. This is going to be his legacy.

Only time will tell if the Taliban make any changes to the way they operate but for the first time in almost 40 years there will be no foreign occupying force on their soil.

"Educated" in an extreme form of Islamic Sharia law and possibly how to field strip an AK47. These students are now killing Afghans who helped the allied forces that previously occupied their country. How can you appear to almost sympathize with these terrorists, which they are.

I do not sympathize with the Taliban.

Almost immediately the Taliban are being forced with how to govern a country. Their cash flows are turning off immediately unless they cooperate at some level with the USA. This is partly why there is a truce around the Kabul airport.

The USA has appropriated billions of $ that was earmarked for Afghanistan. Although distasteful, the USA can influence the Taliban leaders with cash. The Chinese are already making suggestions with cash.

Although it is true that the educated Talibans were indoctrinated in extreme Islamic Sharia religion they also rec'd education in many other productive areas.

The Taliban are almost divided into two groups. The hard core fighters who have known nothing but violence for over ten years and the educated ruling class. The Taliban are not a cohesive group where communications quickly flows to all participants. What the Taliban leaders decide in Kabul might take months to be communicated to the far corners of the country and there is no guarantee that the local commanders will obey those instructions.

You know who else received a good education? Osama Bin Laden.

Stop talking about the Taliban being educated. It's meaningless.

Honda's cutesy U Be electric scooter only costs $475
And technically, it can be an e-bike with a set of pedals, too.

                    Honda U Be electric scooter
                    Neat!

                    Wuyang-Honda
Scooters never quite caught on in the US like they did in many other parts of the world, but perhaps Honda's latest offering this month could change that. Well, if the company planned to introduce this electric scooter here. This is the Wuyang-Honda U Be. It costs about $475, can go up to 50 miles on a charge and provides a fully seated position for riders to stay comfy in.

Right now, the joint venture company is only focused on Chinese sales, so don't expect Honda Powersports to start stocking U Be scooters. However, with a price like this and what looks like a very tidy little package, it might be a surprise hit in various parts of the US where owning a car, frankly, sucks.

... turns out that senior Chinese officials have been talking to the Taliban leadership about mineral extraction for many months. There is a narrow land link between the two countries.

OBL was from a rich Saudi family. He was primarily educated in Saudi Arabia and London.

Is this the latest Rep talking point? Did you see the people involved in the failed insurrection? None of them looked capable of planning a riot. Why does it matter? There was still a riot with the purpose of attempting to overturn a legal election. This report doesn't change history!! Deal with it. Your moronic ex pres. intentionally goaded people into attacking the Capitol. No number of reports is going to change that!
