With 400 million guns in the hands of 330 million US citizens, I fear the USA has passed the tipping point on sensible guns laws and sensible gun saftey being able to protect society.
Gun sales have been accelerating as more and more people feel lonely or not safe with constant news about daily gun violence.
The environment will soon suffer the same fate unless greater investments and regualtions are put into place to protect the planet from human activity.Comment

... the problem with guns in the USA is multi-generational and multi-presidential.

What is your solution?
FYI - No matter what state of city that I've lived in...this remains the one constant.
Gun violence disproportionately impacts Black and LatinX Communities.
Every year, on average, 9,991 Black Americans die by gun violence. Of those:
8,251 die from gun homicide
1,447 die from gun suicide.
Black Americans compose 59% of victims of gun homicide but only 14% of the US population.
Black Americans experience 8 times as many gun homicides as white Americans. And Black children and teens (ages 1-17) are three times more likely to be killed with a gun than their white peers.
Every year, on average, 3,800 Latinos die due to gun violence
2,508 are homicides
1,102 are suicides
114 are undetermined intent or legal intervention
76 are unintentional shootings
