Crime in the United States went down in almost every category in 2023, according to new data from the FBI. The data runs counter to popular perception, with a recent poll finding 77 percent of Americans believe crime is up compared to a year ago. NBC News’ Monica Alba reports.

What they fail to mention , there is less police officers patrolling the streets meaning less arrest . That is why Americans believe crime is up . Makes more sense then that data .

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) — In-N-Out Burger says it will close its first location in its 75-year history due to a wave of car break-ins, property damage, theft and robberies affecting customers and employees alike at its only restaurant in Oakland, California.

The fast-food burger joint in a busy corridor near Oakland International Airport will close on March 24 because even though the company has taken “repeated steps to create safer conditions our Customers and Associates are regularly victimized,” Denny Warnick, In-N-Out’s chief operating officer, said in a statement Wednesday.

“We feel the frequency and severity of the crimes being encountered by our customers and associates leave us no alternative,” Warnick said
Good thing there's nothing in Mississippi to break into

How are the riots burning and looting and Anifta in Mississippi? You must be so busy after checking on restrooms.

they say as if women were all owned by the democrats. the dems always weaponize sensitive issues for their own gain. polarizing the people on non issues. Sexism has no institutional power in America. It's American's decadence and privilege that makes them feel entitled to your sympathy. Honestly the libs get none. You live in one of the best places in the world and you cry you are getting paid a few cents less. (not even the case that statistic is hilariously out of place) yet they'll scream about it to get support. 99% of sexism in America is manufactured. honestly americans are spoiled.

"almost every category" where is you list of those that went down? Violent crime is one that didn't according to the DOJ. Are you calling the current DOJ liars.

And what about compared to 4 years ago?
