    new fuser smell

we've all smelled a new fuser for the first time it's turned on. is there anything else that smells like that? i've been smelling it in my house all night. i've checked the furnace. i can't figure out where it's coming from, but it kind of has me worried.

I remember the smell now. If you take a new fuser smell and multiply it by ten, that's the smell of an overheated water heater. Maybe there's some similar substance in the insulation. I remember dealing with one about ten years ago. So I checked my water heater, and everything seems to be fine.

Boiler heat or central air heat? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
