    The Xerox Murders

I'm a true crime guy and I hadn't heard of this until today. "Typical" workplace massacre but all the victims (and killer) were copier techs. Anyone remember it or knew about it?

I think I would have remembered, but that's 22 years ago and I hardly remember yesterday. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

"didn't want to learn the new models"...that was about the time a lot of companies were switching from analog
to digital, from what I remember. I think I went to my first digital copier school in Dallas around 1999 or 2000

I don't remember hearing about that at all and think it would have stood out in my memory BUT similar to what blackcat said, I can't remember what I had for breakfast.
Started in the copier service business in the fall of 1988 and worked at the same company for 33.5 years, becoming the senior tech in 2004 but left to pursue another career on 4/29/22.

I remember it well as someone took a newspaper clipping and posted it the old fashioned way on the shop cork board. I believe there was a added message about "pushy" managers. You can imagine the meeting that occurred after that blew up. I also remember hearing the odd " I hear Zerox is hiring" for a week or so after, as many of us know, techs can have some pretty bleak humour.

Yeah. Don't "remember it" but I know about it. One of our techs is ex-Xerox and he was sent over there for several months to fill in until they could get permanent replacements after that happened.
