The work continues. Putting up a wall because the room is too big.

One wall up. On the other side of the wall I'm gonna put a pool table, foosball table and some other stuff.

I spent most of my day moving a pool table that I just bought. What a bitch.

If anyone wants to come help unload the table, we'll be waiting on ya.

I got about 4 guys to help upload the table. Glad that's over.

The felt looks good. Do you have it fully leveled? And what is the condition of the pads?

The rails are in great shape. I tested them out before I bought it. The way you test the rails (long end and short end) is to roll the ball hard and it should go at least 3 rails.)

I've owned many pool tables. I've recovered them myself. I've replaced rails. I used to be really into pool when I was younger

This is a Valley pool table. If you go into a bar, chances are you're gonna see a Valley or Dynamo table. They're now the same company.

I haven't played much pool since college. They had 3 tables in the student union building. Rails on each were quite unique. If you hadn't played them before, you had no idea what direction the bounce would go. it took weeks of play to get to where you had somewhat of an idea of where to hit the rail and the amount and direction of "English" to put on the cue ball to get it to go anywhere near where you wanted.

I've been looking for a particular pool table light and I finally found it. I used to have this one back in the day. Can't believe I found it.

Nice one - I totally suck at pool but it's still fun (I'm a bit more capable @table soccer though)^^

Looking forward to see some pics when it's ready. Where's the bar area?

So, I ordered L.E.D. strip lighting to go around the ceiling of the game room. This lighting by itself is not pleasant to look at, IMO. In order to get that "neon" lighting look, you have to use an aluminum channel with a "diffuser". You also have to have a high density LED strip. I almost got it right. A couple of LED's are not working so I'm sending it back and ordering a higher density strip.

                              See below.

I have frequently seen indirect LED lighting strips mounted above decorative molding.
