Liquid gasoline is not flammable. It has to be vaporized first and that vapor has to be with in a specific range of concentration of fuel vapor to oxygen. You can throw a lit match into a bucket filled to the brim and it will put the match out. All those scenes you see on TV and in movies of fuel tanks exploding are faked. It very happens in real life and then only after the tank has been ruptured and the fuel has leaked out on the ground.
Lithium batteries on the other hand can spontaneous combust. In fact pure lithium will react instantly with water. In fact it is a common high school lab demonstration.
