It's true, our system is screwed, and it's both D and R, and they are experts at keeping themselves in power and WE THE PEOPLE at each other's throats (and sometimes over the silliest things IMO)!
I think our founding fathers screwed up (half of them on purpose they were all rich land owners) because they were not Nostradamus types, and if we had a time machine AND backward time travel was possible, we'd all go back and tell them to not forget to create a 4TH BRANCH of our government..... consisting of actual citizens and making a law that us REAL guys who were born poor or working for a living were required to serve a year as a duty to our country. If you're caught living a rich or lavish lifestyle from corrupt money you go to prison for a year for every million bucks you grafted! Then maybe THAT branch...people's governing committee can pass a law the OTHER branches must follow suit with the anti-graft laws!!!

Just more proof that republicans detest poor people. A 30% sales tax would hit l the lower class the hardest. Of course, that's the republican plan. They hate having their wealthy buddies paying taxes. That's for chumps.
