    Mr. Spock,

Does your company participate in the BEi program or are you wondering what we are talking about?

You or they can call me with questions? I will try to answer any they may have. We have had BEI for almost 4 years. My number is, Martin Business Group, 1-262-249-5728 x 357

Its been a couple of years and we are still on the program. They have tweaked the hell out of it and made it tougher to get a big bonus but it is still a nice amount if your numbers are good. Now management is using it as a downsizing tool! I read a post earlier by someone asking about parts usage and what is fair. This program definitely makes you think about every part you install and if it is really needed.

                Good Luck out there!!

Same here, but with the newest changes the good techs get some really nice bonuses, $850+ but the low performers are not very happy.

Our manager is using it's info to try and keep us all in our jobs.

I guess what is hurting the most is that volumes are down big time. I used to get 2m per month and now am avg about 1.2m per month. They have cut our fce multiplier and have increased some kitty clicks ( clicks you gotta get above before they start counting)

All in all im glad to have a job and this program seems to have made me a better tech over the last couple of years because it has made me troubleshoot problems instead of shotgunning and returning multiple times to fix a prob.

Glad to hear you are still doing good with it and keep up the good work!

Actually we lost our positive fce multiplier, retained the negative. We are to focus on carry over calls now (calls left on the "screen" at the end of the day), so if we (as a group) have low carry over we get a pos multiplier, if they are too high, a negative.

We also have another positive multiplier that I cannot mention here.

But for me being the main color tech, I'm loving the color rates, especially for the color machines I have doing 200k a week each.

Ok.You have my attention guys.I have been looking into getting into this program and now i am wondering if i should even bother. They have more than just the "numbers" part of it and i really would like some input as to if it is worth putting any time into.OMD sucks and i am trying to switch but in the mean time i can see there is good and bad in this system. But over all,is it worth the time and trouble to get into?
And yes, i am the service manager, but i do work on high volume and color too.

As a tech I like it. It has made me troubleshoot more and fix it right the first time. It has definitely decreased our unnecessary parts usage as a company because we get dinged or benefit from parts usage. i have heard from the managers that it is kinda time consuming with all the reports but I believe it is because our company keeps tweaking it and won't leave it alone.

                          Good luck

I am on this system as well In theory it works well however as others have said it is constantly tinkered with and tweaked also they have raised the level at which we get our bonus dollars increased the major problem I have is that there is no way to remove the stupid customer from the system do a big pm and do it well only to have the machine called in the next day from customer damage breaking things or loading paper wrong etc this can ruin a great month in no time

We have been on this program for a few months now, and I asked the question of the fellow presenting the program to all of us one morning, "How do you fix stupid" and guess what, he had no answer.
We have all had it happen, do a big PM, someone gets white out on the scan glass, gets a post it note stuck in the Doc Feeder, ect...little stuff, but it kills your numbers.
