This is how we "retire" old copiers.

My company donated this old Konica something or other to a local church youth group for a fun show. The theme of the night was smashing things. It was pretty cool.

Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you.
    O.o

i could swear that at the 1 min mark that guy went up to the driver and asked if he could make a copy.

At one time we had an old Xerox console analog behind the office. After a crappy day in the field, I'd take a walk around back with the sledge hammer, ax, crowbar, what-have-you, and take a few swings. When it was finally separated into two halves we could lift the remaining bits into the dumpster.

It was very therapeutic after spending 8 hours fixing. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I'd like to take a Komatsu D575A to a Xerox someday.

We used to tear apart old Mita copiers with a sledge hammer to fit them into the dumpster. That brings back some memories. For some reason it makes me want to listen to some old school rap from the Ghetto Boys. "Back up in yo ass with the resurrection...".
But I'm trying, Ringo. I'm trying real hard... to be the Shepherd.

I talked a Sheriffs department into taking their old POS to the range and charge $1.00 a shot. They ended up with almost $1000.00 towards a new one.

Also took and old Canon np 200 out to the sticks and destroyed it with a 30-06.
Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?

Konica 7050 or 7060, it appears by the shape of the RADF.

                    Way cool! Thanks for sharing!

Did that once with an old Sharp back in the early 80's. Tied it to the back of a pickup and drove around the parking lot with it bouncing around behind us. Good thing it was our own lot. Those were the days.

                        NICE!
Color is not 4 times harder... it's 65,000 times harder. They call it "TECH MODE" for a reason. I have manual's and firmware for ya, course... you are going to have to earn it.
