    i thinck i broek smethin

Starting last Sunday I've been on a 6 day marathon to cover all the prerequisites to be in my first Konica Minolta class, starting Monday. In addition to the usual 60 hr work week, I figure I crammed in another 30+ hours of tutorials reading and testing.

I finished with a whole 1.5 hours to spare, but I think I broke something. My right eye doesn't close anymore, and I can still hear this little voice in the back of my head talking about PSWCs and KMBSs and PSBOs ... how do I make it go away? I must look like "Bill the Cat".

Ah, the joys of starting from scratch for the 4rth?, 5th time? At least most of the terminology meshes with what I remember.

So who will be in Chicago Monday for the C360? =^..^=

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

AAAWWwww...same procedure at evry new brand... i hate that from the deep of my heart to do this annoying lessions over and over again to gain the "Super Hero Smart Office Solution Engeneer of (insert a Brand of your choice here) " Award, just to get the right to work on those boxes official. As if they were so different from others.... sigh. (insert a Brand of your Choice here) will not alter Physics Law, neither they will invent a new wheel, so why the Hell they intend to teach a Techician with 25 Years experience the basics of a paper feed unit a gazillionth Time?

COOL... Then you can call their tech support and hear that song that is stuck in my head.

On my list, tech support comes right before dynamite.

Outward Associates was fun..."oh that's not so bad". I soon realized every link I clicked opened a string of 30 more links each with their own videos and quizzes...

Exactly. Copier Basics I & II at first just appeared to be a couple of long tests, until I looked at the course description which lists the 7 online prerequisites.

Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?

                  OH BROKEN!

                  Brokeded in da Firmware, Gato-negro!
No fixes it but in da Guiness or da Makers Mark or da Yellow Tail (sum lotta red, red Merlot), or compatible download tool.
It reformatses da HDD and flashes da NVRAM.

Pour, drain, repeat till da full CCD shutdown.

                  Pause, rewind, replay
                  Warm memory chip
                  Random sample
                  Hold the one you need...

As a fellow Kyo-to-Konica guy I must warn you. Konica maintenance mode was built by engineers for engineers. No more plain English. Sim 130 to set developer? Fuhgetabbouit. You must clear counts, run L-Detect (or whatever given model decides to call it) Toner density, Laser Diameter, etc, etc. On some models it's called "drum peculiarity". Great sims like 34, 402, 70-72, 20, 906 have no equivalent.

Oh...and that one screw to replace cassette pulleys...haha. Remove the bypass and a dozen more screws just to get the over-engineered feed unit. 10 screws and 5 e-clips later you've changed the tires.

But color is gravy. No problems, drums remove like toner bottles. No excessive spillage or waste issues. Quality A+

There's no such thing as free time. It all costs. In this case it costed a couple hours of missed sleep each night, and a couple of skipped dinners and lunches. And my two year old is pretty self sufficient. Have you considered litter-training?

By the time we get him down for the night, wife and I are pretty much beat, and I have tried it a couple times after getting him to bed, I had this trouble of the computer crashing, or rather my head crashing into the keyboard, he is 2 and a couple months, and we have not had a full nights sleep yet...and some of that online traning is soooo boring, a double expresso wont keep you awake through it.
