    home office copier

Home office - copier limited space

I have a remote office location in my home. My home office has a Kyocera KM-2560. I am looking for a similar copier.

    I have limited space 27 x 27.

I am looking for a quality scannerwith the copier. I am looking for quality with small file size. I have a Fujitsu 6130 and the quality and file size is not good. The Kyocera gives good quality and small file size.

    Quoted

Copystar - 255 multi- functional . My boss is asking if this is a good brand. I was told it had Kyocera Technology. Does anyone know how the scanner quality and file size it?

Konica Minolta bizhub 25 - Good? Scanner ??

    Sharp MX-B402SC- Good? Scanner?

Which is better? They are basically the same based on the specs.

    Thanks for any help!!

Have you looked into desktop models? While they will lack in features, they do save in space. I don't have any experience in the Konica Minolta or Sharp machines, but we do have about 10 of the 255/305 (B/W) in the field. With the exception of a board failure, which has been addressed and corrected, we have had no issues with the machines.

What's wrong with the KM-2560? For a small machine it's reliable and has a lot of features built in. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Bizhub 25 is decent. Pretty much made for one man operations. It scans but don't expect it to feed it stacks of paper all day...been there done that.

But with some desktop machines, you need to deal with certain problems that aren't correctable. Maybe the fuser curls the paper, maybe the cassettes skew the image a little or maybe the simple document feeder can't handle long runs without jams.

I ask the same question as BC, what happened to the 2560? It's professional grade..and you already own it.

I don't know if you can compare a Copystar to a Kyocera........

ddude is kidding of course, because Copystar is a plastic nametag glued to Kyocera machines. Exactly the same.
