    A little late, but to add to the contention, the MX-C(rap)311 Sharp copier. I'm sure everyone remembers how EVERY new fuser practically blew up, and if you were one of the lucky ones that got the full life out of the fuser, you can bet the CCD in the scanner would be dead, and if not the CCD then the xfer belt would somehow perforate itself...

    To my knowledge the xfer belt was a problem unique to our machines here, but the other 2 were global.

        I wonder how many techs are going to be in front of their computers this weekend just waiting for #499 so they can jump in and be #500 with some witty banter or some great picture or......................

                I'm betting the thread will reach 498 and will sit there for a long time because nobody wants to be a springboard for someone else to claim 500. I'm also betting 500 will be something lame like "500!" or "I got it... 500 whoo-hoo!" just so they get it quick and nobody steals the coveted spot.
