Schlotzkey's is the best if you can find one. Haven't been to one in years.
I know I should be ashamed of myself. Strangely though, I am not.

Went there once here in Mississippi - Heard they were decent, but must have been a REALLY bad day. Never been back. Don't want to take a chance on going back. It was that bad. Been calling them Snotzkey's ever since.

Wish there was another one around so I could give them another chance, but I refuse to go back to the one in Jackson.

Did I mention it was bad.

There were green vapors involved, but mostly brown splatter...

Actually it didn't affect my gut any, it just wasn't as tasty as Subway or McAllister's would have been, the service was AWFUL, and the employees were RUDE!

Like I said, it was probably just this one store, and maybe this one day. I'm sure another location would have been much better, but that one isn't getting any more of my business (and I think they might have closed down.)

Would be nice if some things from outside of Canada made their way over... Sounds like we miss out on a lot of good things.

Shadow1, have you been to the Firehouse Subs off Lakeland in Flowood? My brother introduced us to it a few months back and ever-since, we have to stop by on our way back home...

I drive through Flowwood on my way in and out of Jackson (when I'm not working Columbus) and I never noticed them. Mostly asleep or wishing I had a beer at those times I guess (though I'm not going to tell you which is when) I'll have to try them - are they in Dogwood, or more toward Castlewoods?

Not quite sure. It's in the closest strip of stores from Lakeland Drive in front of Table 100 and Lowes, next door to Stinky Feet. I know Dick's Sporting Goods is across the street.

That's Dogwood. I'll have to give it a try.

Never liked the idea of playing with balls from Dick's - even if they are golf / tennis / basket / foot / etc. balls.

Found Firehouse on my way home today - I'll give it a try sometime next week.

Canada had some really good kids programs on TV in the 80's/90's that they used to air here (USA) on pbs I think.
