    I've had it.

I strongly believe in the good of human nature, but this one have proved me wrong. I would go for cleaning job just to avoid this kinda of shit stress. (not that I'd leave..i'm already good at what I do)

    /start rant

hiya egotistical micro-managers, one in particular.

please sit your ass within your cubicles so you dont encounter things you couldnt understand. cant understand my logic? not my problem. you with 20-30 yrs of exp hasnt seen creative shit like mine? hasnt attempt to do simple shit like what I did to save gas money, parking money, and parking ticket money for werking too funkin hard? Well you aint a technician then. Telling me not to assume your standard is what? No I dont, YOU DONT EVEN HAVE A CLUE what the standard is for the industry you so slaved for. The good thing with ADD-inattentive imbalance is that I see everything on your face so that it becomes predictable. Where you hessitate, how you hessitate, when you gather your thoughts, how you wait for my words, just how devious can you be.

trying to fish words out of my mouth so you appear to be on top of the game? I've seen it many times now. Sure we can have our little talk in your little office, you raise voice, condemn me for my actions... BUT! you know what happens if you go "all in" all the time with your threat? I can see your pattern. Maybe Mr. Rogers wasnt the best story teller after all, your stinking face who call himself a director but rather really is a overrated bean-counter, IS.

Trying to accuse me of something? Prove it! AND be a man and do the dirty work yourself.

I never doubt you are the best at what you do with paper work, dont try to second rate me with your bus boy who cant even get some simple jobs done right in one try.

NO I never wanted to dump the job to the senior, YOU MADE THE CALL so he goes and clean shit up after me, how am I to blame?

    How am I to learn?

just be glad I let all this go, and becareful what you wish for, I am covering all your asses right now if I was to be gone, you may have to really work.
you dont want that now do you.

AND what kind of work environment are you creating if the techs dont communicate amongst themselves, and report to you for individuals flaws?

sick game, shit head, sick game that you have allowed to form.

I am trying my best to figure you as a nice person and you are on some level, no contest, but this has done permanent damage.

    /end rant

      oh yes.

But tomorrow...or 8 hours later is another day.

To have taken this personal is only saying I'm still fresh, but only because I care about what I do.

      aint that sad.

The long and short of it all is, people suck. I've learned if you expect the worst from them, you'll never be disappointed. You may wind up being pleasantly surprised, but you will never be disappointed.

Sounds like the bean counter might be adding some kindling to a long burning fire?

          Re: I've had it.

Separating your job from the rest of your life can be hard. No one knows the stress of dropping the last screw into the power supply and having to take the machine all apart again, unless you've been there.

Then they want to know why it took so long. What were you doing? You stare at them as their head shrinks and their voice turns to static...

They could never do your job it requires to much thinking. We think exponentially. Paper jams in "A". Could be "A", what powers "A", what controls "A", what reports "A" failed. Then when you isolate a potential problem it could be 4 reasons why that part failed. As opposed to their "choose your own adventure" style of linear thinking that can only go down a predetermined number of paths.

But then you realize as you turn on the machine and the optics carriage is making a banging noise because you left your pliers in there, you are an idiot. We are as dumb as we are smart. Laugh about it and remember it's just a job...

I've only learned one useful thing about this topic. Share your frustrations only with your spouse or best friend. Even when they like you, co-workers opinions are colored by your comments. Maybe share it with a really good service manager who will back you up when the screaming starts.

                Or us. We'll never tell.

I can't tell you how many times I've driven home with my face burning, and grumbling about that last a$$hole. Usually by the next day, I've found a way to forget, and do it all over again. Don't let it tear you up. You're the only one suffering. Let it go. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
                1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
                2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
                3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
                4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
                5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I think we sometimes need to feel the rough part of this job. It upsets you, it makes you angry, but the next day you wake up and in spite of all the shit that happened the other day, deep down, you love this work, you had a wild passion once to learn to fix every copier, maybe even worked late nights just to figure why a jam is occurring in the fuser. If all went well and nice, it would turn into a boring job. And really, this life's great. All the things that surround us. All this magic... One asshole talking dirt like an insane can't spoil the thing that you are alive and doing what you like.

The funny part is, yes I left the pliers in the machine under glass in view and it sat there for months of use while the users new it was there and never called me in to remove it. Luckly it didn't stop the machine from being used so they did not care about it. hahaha!!

I would call him buddy, and laugh just to piss him off, reverse physcology.

Being angry and bitter is no way to go through life. It's like drinking poison, then waiting for the other person to die.
