Its not my work or customer skills , thank this economy....................

Make a few calls and now have some possibilities, with the potential for full time next year.......................

Now its back to doing contract work and finding what ever it takes to survive till something happens........................

thank my lucky stars this is not the only thing I am qualified to do....................
its the one thing I love to do though.................................
daily contact with clients and solving their machine issues..................

That pretty much sucks Don, hope you find something soon.
I got called into my manager's office a few weeks ago and was told " I had a bad attitude". It's a good thing the post from nmfaxman (I think it was him) about his bad attitude when he replied
"What you call a bad attitude, I call a low tolerance for stupidity" hadn't posted yet, or I might be looking also.
That was when I added to my signature.

thanks for the support, its much appreciated.

I have applied to a company called Field Solutions.
They posted yesterday for a contractor position here in the Victoria area.
here is to hoping something will happen quickly with them.
I also made contact with a company I did contract work before, there is some work there with the possibility of full time come the new year.
I do have many other skills to rely upon to make money.

Thanks for the offer Mr.Bill, I think you just want a reason to come back here to go fishing LOL

I was called into office 3 years ago and was let go with 3 other techs...when I got home I got on the phone and called every dealer within an hours drive, had 3 interviews set up within a 2 weeks, accepted a position and haven't looked back. It is easy to get depressed about it, sounds like you have a good attitude. A year later my wife was let go after 10 years at a company and it took her a year to find a place. We are both happier and less stressed than at old companies.
