I saw a car the other day.

It was black and scary looking. You could tell that it was designed to kill people. It could go 100 miles over the speed limit. We need to ban those scary looking cars.

In 1929 , the Soviet Union estabished gun control. From 1929 to 1953 , about 20 million dissidents were rounded up and exterminated.

In 1911 , Turkey established gun control. from 1915 to 1917 , 1.5 million Armenians were rounded up and exterminated.

Germany established gun control in 1938 and from 1939 to 1945 13 million jews , Jehovah Witnesses and others were rounded up and exterminated.

China established gun control in 1935 and from 1948 to 1952, 20 million political dissidents were rounded up and exterminated.

Guatemala established gun control in 1964 . From 1964 to 1981 , 100,000 Mayan Indians were rounded up and exterminated.

Uganda established gun control in 1970. From 1971 to 1979 , 300,000 Christians were rounded up and exterminated.

Combodia established gun control in 1956. From 1975 to 1977, one million educated people were rounded up and exterminated.

I already mentioned Rhowada's 500,000 to 1,000,000 people killed in the 90's in a earler post..

Defenseless people rounded up and exterminated in the 20th century because of gun control = 57 million.

So like saleserviceguy says, don't tell me gun control doesn't work. The numbers prove it.

The big lie is who gun control works for.

... for your sake, in that situation, I hope you perform as expected in a high stress fluid situation with moving targets and people in between.

Dear Sales Service Guy..I wouldn't have missed. I spend more than adequate time at the local practice range with some individual instruction. On the ligher side, to ease any tension on this post, there is a copier that's been beating me up that I may draw my weapon on..

Good Guns... Sit! Lay down! Roll Over!

People on the other hand ARE the problem. Criminals specifically, and no amount of laws make any difference to them.

Deal with the criminals, not the guns.
Using your logic, why can't we keep bombs at our house? They don't go off unless a person detonates them. Blame the person , not the bomb.

I am a gun owner and also liscensed to carry a concealed weapon by my state, which I do. I hope and pray I will NEVER have to use it. But if I had been at Sandy Hook School or the theater in Colorado, the shooters wouldn't have gotten off but a few rounds and alot of people would still be alive.

It's funny how gun people always say "well if he didn't have a gun he would have used a.....(whatever is handy)"
The thing is though, that person didn't use a........(whatever is handy), he used a gun.
Sure, people will kill other people, but how many kids are killed each year by a stray butter knife in a drive by butter knife throwing?
Or how many kids pull out their dad's "unloaded" butter knife and accidentally stab themselves to death?
Butter knives don't kill people, people kill people.

If by chance you are referring to cutlery and therefore knives, not many people in the USA are rapidly killed in mass murders or at a distance by knives compared to firearms.

Skilled gun designers get paid at least $100k per year. They are in high demand to create new weapons that will entice people who have many guns to buy yet another one. Until the Newton massacre gun sales were actually beginning to fall due to a shrinking customer base especially as people moved from a rural to urban settings. The firearms industry was compelled to create new designs to find new buyers and maintain sales.
Hmmm... How do I describe that post??? So many words to chose from. I think I'm going with: Drivel
