Re: The random thought thread
Actually the two were not related. The first leak was a cross over from 1 side of the house to the other. Had been leaking a while. The second was on the other end of the house. The water in the wall was from the tub spicket in the boys bathroom. I guess the pressure from starting the pump back up, blew a badly coroded connection. Funny thing was, after fixing the first leak with 1 trip under the house and only 1 trip to the hardware store, I was laying on the bed thinking how my plumbing repairs never end with less than 3 trips to the hardware store when the boy walked in.The greatest enemy of knowledge isn't ignorance, it is the illusion of knowledge. Re: The random thought thread
Similar thing happened at our warehouse recently. The mains water was turned off while the badly cracked concrete loading pad out the front was dug up and relaid and when the water was turned back on a rusty pipe in the toilets blew out. For once the damage was minimal and the only loss was a carton of toilet paper unlike when the river flooded 10 years ago and we lost $1.25 million worth of stock. At least 50% of IT is a solution looking for a problem.Comment

Don't just drive fast, look weird when you're doing it too!
Exhibit A
And while it has yet to live up to it's claimed potential, Exhibit B
Heh. If you haven't seen what the rat finks were doing back in the day this is actually pretty neat.
But be careful, as apparently beer kegs might attack out of the blue. Who wants that. Bleagh. Hope the people who filmed that are doing OK.Comment

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Correction, that should be 10 kinds of beer I appreciate: cold and free. But you might not have been here long enough to have known Debs but Lagonda, Iowatech and Blackcat know what I am talking about.Comment

It's a bit like working next to a donut shop; you begin to detest the smell of cooking donuts...
Trust me, my stomach has become queasy to the smell of cooking donuts.
I'll never look at a cinnamon coated donut the same ever again....Inauguration to the "AI cancel-culture" fraternity 1997...
