The bicyclist doesn't have much of a lead, does he? I'll bet the uphill side went a lot quicker than usual.

I was crossing the rural part of Michigan once, when I found myself being paced by a farm dog. He was part German Shephard, the rest who knows? Mutt. But he could run.

He had the advantage on the uphill runs, but I could gain some ground on the downhills. He probably stayed with me for 2 miles, at one point right at my rear tire. Eventually he must have decided that I wasn't worth it (probably all gristle and bone anyway), and turned back home. That was the most memorable part of that trip, other than it raining every inch of the way. =^..^=

Speaking of finger nails , the dry weather has them concerned about hang nails.......

Nah with good weather the hang nails just seemed to glide right over.

I understand one or two or the digits almost fell off. They had to be secured by finger nails.
