    My rule of thumb is that 99 slit glass image defects are on top, number 100 is under the glass or on the mirror.

        I wish that was the reason but it happened in the Black Hole of my workshop which all of the women in the company give a wide berth to.
        At least 50% of IT is a solution looking for a problem.

            Don't nuke peanut butter.
            I mean don't try to warm a jar of the stuff up in the microwave. Any bits of the foil seal that are left on the top of the jar will cause a lightshow that could cause wrong and stupid things to happen,

              Granma's antique china plates with a gold border trim, give off a good light show in the microwave.
              After the gold short circuits once or twice the china plates are good to use next time.

              It appears to be a one off aurora borealis light show first time around.
