Re: Share something about your daily commute.
WOW!!!!! I think I would have to be committed to a hospital if I had to endure that. Maybe some heavy meds would make it less stressful. Seriously, it only takes me 10 minutes to get to work. I did Atlanta for 2 years and said no more.
Count your blessings and be thankful. -
Re: Share something about your daily commute.
My wife is trying to get back in shape (I have no problem with her shape...), today on my way to work I saw her in the middle of her 8 mile walk crossing the new pedestrian bridge they built next to the main road. Honked and waved for support...Very proud of her. I'm not sure if you are being sarcastic or not. That didn't seem like a bad commute. A couple stop signs shouldn't ruin your day.Comment

Re: Share something about your daily commute.
That is just brutal. And then when you go out on a service call you have to look at all those corn fields.
I kid everyone about my drive to work also. I used to drive in the Seattle traffic. 1 hour trip to go 20 or 30 miles sometimes. Rude folks cutting in front of you etc.
Moved out of the concreate jungle and now in the country. Drive down the canyon road. Have to watch out for deer. Have to drive along the pretty Wenatchee river and see the Cascade mountains all around me. Eagles and hawks flying all over. It's rough now.
Hope your Cornhuskers do good this year. Huskies and Cornhuskers in the Rose Bowl.?Comment

Re: Share something about your daily commute.
I don't go to an office, I go straight to my first customer, the closest one I have to home is about 60 seconds walk, but, as a lot of my work is in South London, quite often my commute is even worse than yours LOL. 2 days ago I got stuck in traffic because some idiot decided to have an accident at a point where traffic has no way of passing, so it took nearly 2 hours to get homeThere are 10 types of people in this world, those who understand binary maths and those who don'tComment

The road from hell, got stuck for ages coming home from holiday, in Somerset, then again at Stonehenge (still a better choice than the M5/M4 though), but try having to use the M25 regularlyThere are 10 types of people in this world, those who understand binary maths and those who don'tComment

Re: Share something about your daily commute.
I think my commute is worse. After leaving my parking lot and entering traffic, I make a left turn to the end of my street to a stop sign, then a right turn to a traffic light, then a left turn onto the only highway going through town, and then a last right turn to arrive at my office. Worst 3 minutes of my life too!

Re: Share something about your daily commute.
The worst part of my short little 3 minute commute to work right now is this horrid humidity and heat I have to subject myself to for brief moments....someone tell mother nature it's supposed to be autumn here in Texas!"In a cruel and evil world, being cynical can allow you to get some entertainment out of it."

Re: Share something about your daily commute.
I drive across town, drop a kid off at middle school, then back to the other side of town to drop 3 kids off at grade school, then back to the other side of town to come to the office. It'd be a lot easier if schools started at different times, but noooo. By the time I get to work I'm ready for some quiet time.Comment

Re: Share something about your daily commute.
You think 3 months of 52 degree weather is horrible? Try 8 months of snow with temperatures dropping to -40. With that kind of heat, the worst thing that would happen would be a fluctuation of forest fires, but who doesn't like the smell of bonfire and barbecue?Cthulhu for president! Re: Share something about your daily commute.
3 minutes?
The best time I've ever done on that particular 56 miles is 80 minutes. That was a Sunday night after 2 AM. Daily average 100 minutes.
During a snowstorm 2 years ago it took me 4 hrs 30 minutes to do that same 56 miles. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
