Are you slow right now?

The past month has been extremely slow for me. As an independent, I was starting to get worried. I even called a few of my bigger customers to "check" on them. No--they're not going to anyone else... at least they didn't indicate that.

Is anyone else slow?

Actually--today it's picking up. This is the first day in over a month that I've had more that 2 calls scheduled.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it's never going to be the 70's & 80's again when you could actually make a profit. Internet destroyed that.
I give boxes away (free) just to pick up a service policy. Never thought I'd see the day.
You've got to go with the flow my friend and hope for the best.

Not only that, tax time is over until next year so all the accountants are not using their equipment as much.

I'm not that young. 40s. But I'm young enough not to know what the business end of the service industry was like in the 70s.

Dealers could write their own ticket. It was a total niche. Much like the HVAC boys had before R410a came along.
